Bonifacio 200 km north of Casteddu - it seems so close but is so far: to get to Bonifacio takes at least 5 hours. Located on the southern tip of Corsica, it is one of the most beautiful villages on the island. Important advice for visitors: when heading north, avoid the east coast which is dull and largely unpleasant. Instead, go via to the splendid west coast.
